IT etc. Training is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing 21st century coding skills to people who might not have had the opportunity to undertake studies previously in this increasingly vital field. IT etc. Training is working closely with a number of industry partners and are pleased to be able to offer a number of FREE “challenges” to anyone willing to make the commitment, to have a go. Each challenge is focused on specific skillsets. Students will be learning coding skills, solving problems, doing hands on coding, learning to communicate and collaborate and having fun on their way to completing the challenge.
Our FREE 8-week Saturdays 'Learn to code' challenge programs, run at the State Library of Queensland, Cultural Precinct, Southbank in the Business studio has been a great success and is continually over-subscribed. The 'Learn to code' challenges have been instrumental in introducing Queenslanders to the world of coding, and inspired many students to continue on the life-changing path of seeking to work in the dynamic 'software development' field.
We also offer a FREE 8-week Saturdays ‘Coding applications’ challenge program to participants who have previously completed the ‘Learn to code’ challenge or students with previous coding experience. This is held in the event space at River City Labs, The Precinct, TC Bernie Building, Fortitude Valley.
